Divided by 13
When I first purchased my Kemper Profiler almost 14 years ago, some of my favourite profiles were early ‘Divided by 13’ profiles made by Michael Britt.
Myself and some of my studio friends have continued using some of these profiles to this very day.
That really says something for the talented Mr. Britt, but also for the divided by 13 amps he profiled.
I was so taken by the divided by 13 brand that I bought my own BTR 23 about five years ago.
The BTR 23 is a powerful 23 W amp that was developed for Brian Rey of Paul McCartney’s band.
This amp draws from the ‘best of’ British amp design. It’s a highly dynamic amp with a creamy overdrive that packs a lot of mid-range punch!
Obviously, Brian could have had any amp he wanted but chose to partner with Fred Taccone, to create the beautiful BTR 23 that is heard on stages all around the world!
I profiled the amp with a variety of speaker cabinets, and Made a few profiles with some great stomp boxes like the analogue man king of tone, the JHS Super Bolt and RYRA Klon Klone.
